The Heyward

In West Ashley, just outside downtown Charleston, The Heyward delivers 260 multifamily residences where Lowcountry charm sits comfortably beside fine residential living. Completed in spring 2018, SHAH served as Interior Architect for the public and recreation areas, partnering with S.Wilkins Interiors to layer warm finishes, chosen furnishings, and a fine-tuned material palette throughout. Each gathering space is shaped to feel as much like home as like amenity, elevated enough to lift the day, intimate enough to inhabit. The Heyward doesn't sit at the center of Charleston; it sits at the center of the neighborhood, which is a different thing entirely.
